Extend-a-cab

Pickup Extend-a-cab - $350 (IL)
Pickup truck extend-a-cab: Fiberglass unit to add to existing cab with 2 opposing seats and a back exit door. I used this on my 85 Dodge when showing horses and pulling a gooseneck horse trailer and also when pulling our camper and it gave us some extra room with out buying a crew cab truck. I purchased this new at the cost of 1200.00 even at that time it was more expense than a full size topper but you couldn't use a topper and a gooseneck together. I have had this sold a couple times but then the people although said they were buying it never came back with the cash. If you bring cash, and make a reasonable offer , we can deal. It has a small hole in the door panel where a garden tractor got to close. It will fit the dodges and fords of the 80s but I don't know what else. I have quite a few photos that I can e-mail. Mounting Total width is 69" with a 4" x 32 1/2' lip on both sides. Burgandy in color but some of the clearcoat is pealing off.

Is it legal to have someone sitting in this thing when you are driving??  Are there seatbelts?

Save money by not getting a true extended cab??  Not me  :-)

  1. Well,
If you have a gooseneck, you probably have a tackroom...
Or, you could probably afford an extended cab...

    This is just so odd.

  2. It would seem to me that it would get in the way of a GN when you were making sharp turns.
