This gives a whole new meaning to LQ

1985 Hillsboro 4 horse camping trailer $2,500 (TN)
Stock trailer conversion. 10 foot living quarters, tack room, 3 to 4 horses. Lots of shelf and storage space, mini refrigerator, 3 lights in living quarters, 2 lights in horse compartment. It will need some work as it has not been used in a few months. I will take $500 off if you do not want the solar panel and accessories; the fridge and lights will still work without solar.

Oh wow!  But they do have a fire extinguisher.

A gooseneck project!!

28 ft Gooseneck Horse Trailer - $1900 (VA)
Model:1990
Make:Chap
28ft gooseneck
Needs a lot of work
Surface Rust
Great fix-up project
I bought this trailer to fix up and use for myself, I've just been really busy and haven't had anytime to work on it. It would make someone a nice trailer once fixed up. If you have any other questions feel free to email me. Thanks!

This looks like a bumperpull that was welded onto a GN front.
I'm not a big fan of mangers - it does not allow the horse to lower their head to clear their airways.  I'm particularly sensitive to this because I had a horse with a health issue. This would have been torture for him as he needed to lower his head frequently to be able to cough so he could breathe.

Ive never been much of a bumper pull person but I absolutely love this! However, for that price you could get a decent used 3 horse with weekender or living quarters... This thing looks long too, wonder how it would pull with a full load and hold up over the years?

Today's blogger is Rachel - thanks!

Another inexpensive LQ trailer

Gooseneck Horsetrailer with livin quarters - $3500 (ID)
Year: 1977
Make: WW
Body: HE
Length: 35
We painted the interior and add a new wood floor. We gutted out a camper and made the front of this horse trailer a livin quarters. The table and chairs make into a bed. You can also make a bed above the table. There is a queen sized mattress above gooseneck part too. We don't really want to sell, but we have to due to a garnishment. We need to sell ASAP. We are asking $3500 or best offer to pay off our debt and stop the garnishment

I hope they have money to feed their horses if they have any.  :-(

Modular Trailer with LQ - Redneck style

Modular LQ two horse straight load trailer ...
30 1/2 feet total length. Nice extra long and wide horse trailer w/ slide out saddle rack and plenty of storage room. Living quarters is 18', sleeps 4 adults. Full bath w/tub and shower and flush toilet. Hot and cold water. Large closets. Kitchen has fold down table for another bed, double stainless sink, 4 burner stove with oven. Large refrigerator w/ freezer and micro-wave. Nice cold air-conditioner, wall heater w/ thermostat. Roll-out awning on front side of trailer. Instruction books for everything. Fifth wheel hookup and fifth wheel plate for truck included. Bolted together and can be taken apart to separate in 2 hours or less.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to say, the concept is great! However, 2 hours to separate them is totally unacceptable. 2 minutes would be more like it. There are many times when I have wished we could separate the LQ section from the rest of the trailer and only pull the (shorter) trailer on day rides.
I wonder if they had to beef up the axles on the BP to carry the weight of the horses AND the camper unit?
