Great deal on a project

We have just purchased a 1976--Two Horse 'Pride' Bumper Pull Horse Trailer. April 2010. It is 1500 kgs! It is Black with a red top, made of galvanized steel, don't make them like that anymore--it is solid too. It has 4 good tires, and a spare tire, new floor, new ramp, newer electrical and brakes.Newer burgundy inside bumper pads. Only needs new paint and a good inside cleaning.We got it for only $1000 cash Cdn. We are getting it pressure washed today, etc to get ready for painting. The man said he bought it 3 yrs before for $3000 and didn't realize how much needed replaced. SO, we got it with all the new and newer stuff he did to it as they upgraded to a 4 -horse trailer recently with living quarters. Lucky us! I hope the pics open for you. Heather and Al.

Ive never been much of a bumper pull person but I absolutely love this! However, for that price you could get a decent used 3 horse with weekender or living quarters... This thing looks long too, wonder how it would pull with a full load and hold up over the years?

Project 2 Horse Trailer - $600 (NC)
I bought this trailer as a project and then had some unexpected things come up and don't have the money to fix it. The trailer has a brand new floor for the horse made out of Pressure Treated 2x6 and brand new lights. It needs the front wall rebuilt and in the near future the front floor rebuilt. Also needs 4 tires. It pulls great! Unfortunatly I can't finish it, with a new front and some paint it would be a great trailer! I thought about just turning it into a flatbed trailer which wouldn't be a bad idea. I am asking $600 obo! Feel free to email me if you need any more information on it.

Guess what?!?!?!

I bought a horse trailer!!!  I'll be posting pictures of it as soon as I get it back from the shop.  It's a nice little used trailer - 4 Star brand. 
I was thinking about doing a posting comparing the quality of my two trailers with the Adams trailer being a good entry level trailer and the 4 Star being one of the top trailers you can buy.  Would that be of interest?
This would not be about putting down the Adams trailer, but rather showing pictures of the different types of construction on various components to show why the 4 Star costs so much more and really retains its value over time. Or, how Adams can build a trailer with the same features but cost thousands less.
