Cute! And pretty picture... although pretty scary bits (says the softie english rider). But I guess one does want to make sure he has the attention of two tons of horse if he needs to stop in a jiffy. =)
The far horses bit lacks a curb chain so a bit milder than normal, but the poor horse closest to the camera! Shiiiiiit! Not only the twisted wire but did you notice the bit connected to the overcheck? Hows that for bad adjustment? OUCH!!!
Yeah, the overcheck bit was bothering me more than the twisted. Mr Stolid on the right.... that looks like one of the interchangeable mouthpiece curbs, so no telling what is in his mouth...
I would love to hear from you - what type of unique horse trailers have you found in your travels? Please email me at uniquetrailer@ymail.com Include pictures of the trailer if possible. I am looking for new, old, bad, outstanding, strange locations or strange cargo for trailers. Anything out of the ordinary.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the bits - they are rather harsh looking.....I use a bitless bridle on Dex :-)
