Also, very few people have trucks - the gas is VERY expensive.

Did you see my Sept. 5 posting? I have one of those things (except it's VERY big)!! Those things are incredible. They must have a law against trailers or something there...SprinklerBandithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11381922004203479379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610194971542188133.post-68682177042016712432010-01-28T09:53:00.452-05:002010-01-28T09:53:00.452-05:00I always shake my head at these ads. Just exactly...I always shake my head at these ads. Just exactly how many people on the planet are looking for 3 horses and a crappy looking trailer to buy all in on package? Probably, ZERO!!

Also, I've purchased horses that came in a package and the buyer was selling the MUST TAKE horse because they took it just because they wanted the other horse in the package, so Sellers---it doesn't work!!Drillriderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07237598511944008927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610194971542188133.post-89519636726053751382010-01-28T06:24:06.402-05:002010-01-28T06:24:06.402-05:00Bif - you took the words right out of my mouth!! ...Bif - you took the words right out of my mouth!! LOL

I hope those are breakaway halters.

I also would bet they expect you to pull up all the posts and clean up the area too when you are picking up all their mess. The Margarita Girlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03138559277118087235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610194971542188133.post-46150797414612421532010-01-27T19:38:57.806-05:002010-01-27T19:38:57.806-05:00I must say ('cause I love to talk) that I thin...I must say ('cause I love to talk) that I think any of the offers of MUST BUY ALL TOGETHER are never good. It doesn't make sense sellers!

I think saying it's a great way to get into horses would be contraindicated by the 2 year old. The fact that it is a stud colt does make it worse, but just the two year old would be bad enough!

Good parts... the chestnut looks in nice condition for her age, the grulla is shown doing something useful, and even the colt looks in OK weight (see a shadow of rib, and the hair's a bit rough, but the others looked well fed and dewormed, so it could be his age, and they might not groom him as much)...

So marketing fail. Sell the colt to a knowledgeable horseman. The grulla could go to a normalish advanced beginner or a school program, and the chestnut didn't mention training, but once again an intermediate or school program.

Mention the other items are for sale when the people come to look, if you like, but plan to sell them seperately. all the animals stand a much better chance of making it on in a good way in the world if they don't impose the "all together" thing, where they'll probably go to some fool who doesn't know what he's doing, and end up in a worse home after that one... Uphill (& forward)is always the answer ;-) Not downhill...Bifhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07648037666735227722noreply@blogger.com
